A few years back, I had some horrible trouble, all because I showed (and changed) my relationship status on facebook. So I deleted it - and haven't shown my status since.
Today, I'm happy with that choice, and I wouldn't change it, regardless of my current (or future) circumstances.
I am officially my own person - even facebook says so.
